Summary
Performs general x-rays, assists with administrative tasks, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a medical imaging clinic.
Roles and Responsibilities
Duties:
- taking consent for and conducting general x-rays of patients. (Ultrasounds examinations and other radiological examinations if required)
- Assist in Administrative Duties lincluding ensuring compliance to work protocol, infection protection and control measures, safe management measures, staff rostering if required, clinical audits and governance.
- Printing of reports, films, CDs, order and purchase of necessary films and other materials required by the Radiology Clinic as well as keeping the machines in general working order.
- Printing and collating reports as part of work requirements in the medical centre.
- Taking appointments for patients, collating results and ensuring x-rays films reported promptly and properly.
- Liaise and coordinate with other agencies such as x-ray vendor, managing agent, Ministry of Health licensing units, Health Sciences Authority, and others to ensure efficient running of the centre, compliance with safety and regulation, as well as timely and accurate submissions of results / reports as required.
