Working Hours: 5.5 Days Office Hours
Job Scope:
- Perform general diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning and image acquisition to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred care throughout imaging procedures.
- Apply radiation safety principles (ALARA) and comply with radiation protection, infection prevention and workplace safety guidelines.
- Operate, maintain and perform routine quality assurance checks on radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with organisational policies.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to facilitate timely diagnosis and patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing professional education and departmental projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting supervisor.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
