PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Volume/Census: 60-100 cases per day
• Case Mix: General radiology (CT, US, X-ray), inpatient/outpatient mix, STAT cases

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
• EMR System: Epic

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• General CT (unenhanced head, C-spine/level II trauma)
• Ultrasound (including 1st Trimester)
• X-ray
• Basic CT/US-guided procedures (abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA)
• Fluoroscopy (preferred but not required)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Ohio medical license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand)
• Board: Board Certified, American Board of Radiology
• Certifications: ACLS
• Other Qualifications: NPDB self-query within last 6 months

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform diagnostic interpretation of radiologic studies including CT, ultrasound, and X-ray.
• Perform basic CT/US-guided procedures (abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA) if qualified.
• Manage workflow of reading cases from old-to-new, including inpatients, outpatients, and STAT cases.
• Achieve productivity target of 7 wRVU/hr.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other staff for procedures and patient care.
