Under the direction of the Administrator, the Quality Control Manager:
- Provides planning, executing and monitoring methods for the achievement of departmental initiatives related to enhancing and sustaining Radiology Quality, Compliance, and Patient Safety.
- Provides planning and decision-making measures that support the operational/functional requirements of each program/area and assure their integration into the overall Radiology and organizational initiatives. “Provides planning and decision-making support to meet operational requirements and ensure integration with radiology and organizational initiatives.”
- Oversees Radiology Department compliance with Maryland, Washington DC, FDA, MQSA, and ACR.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice, training and SOPs.
