Radiology Resident
Palmer College of Chiropractic is looking for a Radiology Resident!
The Radiology Resident is responsible for facilitation of radiology services for the Chiropractic Clinics and supervision of clinic students. The position is a three-year minimum in-house training program leading to board examination eligibility.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Responsible to the assigned administrator and has a support responsibility to all other departments and college personnel as necessary.
- Responsible for the supervision of students as required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for conducting radiology examinations as needed
- Provide image interpretation, including reporting
- Offer image consultations to clinicians
- Maintain and monitor patient records
- Supervise and educate students and externs
- Attend departmental, main clinic, and residency meetings
- Support the missions of the department, clinic, and College
- Acquire knowledge through residency sessions, seminars, outside readings, and certifications
- Share acquired knowledge with students, faculty, and staff
- Serve as a role model for students, faculty, and staff
- Oversee intern education
- Manage classroom activities as assigned
