Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiology Tech Lead, you will oversee daily workflow, develop schedules, and act as a subject matter expert for your unit, developing and leading staff to be personally accountable for the organizational mission and success.
Every day you will ensure appropriate orientation for new employees, assure current standards of practice for the unit, and serve as a reliable resource for your team, guiding them towards high performance and adherence to core values.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise in radiology, and a proven ability to manage workflow, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to operational and quality standards within the unit.
- Responsible for the daytoday oversight of the workflow in the department including adequate supplies.
- Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals.
- Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).
- Serves as first point of contact for patient issues.
- Provides feedback for staff evaluations.
- Orients new employees and provides continuing education opportunities for staff.
- Develops and monitors use of protocols.
- Monitors exams for quality and completeness.
- Participates in and provides leadership to the success of the department including patient/physician/employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and stewardship.

Job Requirements
Required
- One (1) year of related experience.
- Current Registered Technologist, Radiology – R.T. (R) (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
Preferred
- Associate's Degree, strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three (3) years of imaging experience, strongly preferred.
