Position Summary

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, producing high-quality radiographic images with minimal supervision. This role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and a commitment to patient care and safety. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations is essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology imaging procedures including X-rays, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients, providing exceptional care and communication.
  • Participate in initiatives related to Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient Satisfaction, Quality Improvement, and Employee Engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
  • Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Valid Wyoming Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Current BLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire).
  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences; additional ARRT modality certifications (CT, MRI, Mammography).

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of medical radiation physics and safety protocols.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate records (electronic and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build positive relationships with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
