Rail Shunting and Coupling Mechanic

What you'll do

What will your job consist of?⚙️🧰

You will join the coupling and shunting team at our factory in Las Rozas (Las Matas).

Your work will be key in the final phase of the manufacturing process, where attention to detail, technical skill, and commitment to safety make the difference.

• Coupling and/or uncoupling our train cars.
• Performing the coupling of the complete train.
• Movement of trains and cars outside the factory.
• Handling loads with overhead cranes (up to 90 tons) and handling forklifts.
• Read job documentation, work orders, procedures, and self-inspections.
• Use of tools, such as 60 mm wrenches or hydraulic jacks.
• Resolving incidents that arise during coupling

What we are looking for in you🔎👀

What we're looking for

• FPII, Intermediate, or Higher Vocational Training qualification related to mechanics.
• At least 5 years of experience performing similar work, carrying out the movement of heavy loads.
• Experience in operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Availability to travel both domestically and internationally. These trips will be compensated with the allowances established in our collective bargaining agreement.
