Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in Design Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of rail infrastructure projects by working closely with the rail design team. Collaborate with rail Structural engineers to create detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications.
- CAD Modeling and Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (Microstation) to produce accurate and detailed models and drawings. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects to support design and development activities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers. Communicate ideas, progress, and challenges clearly and effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure designs meet client standards and are error-free.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
