Raman Field Application Engineer(FAE)

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Raman Field Application Engineer(FAE) to join our team in the United States. In this role, you will serve as the technical bridge between our advanced Raman spectroscopy systems and our clients. You will be responsible for on-site machine operations, custom recipe development, and providing expert application support to satisfy our customers' analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities:

• On-site Machine Operation & Commissioning: Perform setup, operation, calibration, and routine testing of Raman spectroscopy systems at customer sites across the U.S.
• Recipe Development & Optimization: Collaborate with clients to understand their material analysis requirements, develop customized measurement recipes, and optimize process/testing protocols.
• Customer Support & Technical Troubleshooting: Address client technical inquiries, diagnose machine performance issues, and provide timely, practical solutions on-site or remotely.
• Application Demonstration & Training: Conduct product demonstrations, feasibility studies, and comprehensive user training sessions for clients.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Gather customer feedback and field insights to work closely with the global R&D and FSE (Field Service Engineering) teams for product improvement.

Key Qualifications:

• Education Requirements:

o Master's Degree or above in a relevant STEM discipline.
o Preferred Majors: Photonics / Optical Engineering, Physics / Applied Physics, Chemistry / Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or related optical/analytical science fields.

• Experience: Hands-on experience operating optical instruments, Raman spectroscopy systems, micro-Raman, or similar analytical equipment.
• Core Skills:

o Solid knowledge of Raman scattering theory, optical spectrum analysis, and sample preparation techniques.
o Demonstrated ability in recipe development, methodology validation, and data interpretation.
o Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and hands-on problem-solving skills.

• Soft Skills & Mobility:

o Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills.
o Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to client sites within the U.S.
