Range Safety Officer at Shark's Tooth - Sporting Clays Preserve

Job Summary

The Preserve RSO is responsible for the safe operation of the sporting clays range. The RSO will be responsible for leading and escorting members from the pro-shop to the clays course using Kawasaki mules. Once on the course, the RSO will perform a variety of duties, including monitoring safety, escorting members around the course, pushing release buttons, scoring, and attending to the needs of members. Additionally, the RSO will handle general duties to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the range.

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Escort members from the pro shop to the clays course using Kawasaki mules
• Ensure the safety of all members and guests on the course
• Assist members around the course, including pushing release buttons and scoring
• Attend to the requests and needs of members to enhance their experience
• Empty trash receptacles and reload traps with clays
• Clean and secure firearms, ensuring proper maintenance and storage
• Obtain and distribute ice and water for members
• Clean and refuel Kawasaki mules to ensure they are ready for use
• Conduct routine inspections of the course and equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with any issues or concerns
• Assist with organizing and running events and competitions as needed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with target setting
• Maintain assigned training
• Move clays and ammunition inventory to storage areas
• All other duties as assigned
