Rapid Thermal Process (RTP) Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Setup and control new tools/processes and sustain process performance to achieve the quality/yield, cost, capacity metrics

  • Investigate process excursions, analyze/identify actionable root-cause(s) and evaluate effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) after implementation

  • Write, review and analyze reports to support cross-functional decision making

  • Create, modify and update controlled documents (SOPs, OCAPs, FMEA) regularly

  • Propose technical solutions, execute Design of Experiments (DOEs), perform statistical analysis, and implement process changes through PCRB to improve quality/yield and /or operational efficiency

  • Support new product/process transfers to accelerate industrialization for high-volume manufacturing (HVM)

  • Train and mentor new hires and technicians to elevate technical capabilities and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience as process engineer, process owner, process integration engineer

  • Experience in Rapid Thermal Processes (RTA, RTO, RTN, RTH) is an added advantage

  • Foundational knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing process flows

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP)/Reaction Mechanism (RM), Fault Detection and Classification (FDC)

  • Strong critical thinking and data analytical skills to solve complex engineering problems

  • Proficiency in SiView, Klarity, JMP and E3 is an added advantage.
