Raw Material Handler/Cutter

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:Receive, store, cut and distribute raw materials to all departments.SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Keep accurate inventory of raw material in designated area.- Cut/shear material to size according to production work orders; Issue material to the production floor.- Loading and offloading of material coming into the warehouse.- Knowledge of Visual is an asset.- Ensure work instructions and safe work procedures are followed.- Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required; Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.- Clean and maintain work area by supporting 5S program.- All other duties as assigned.DIMENSIONS:- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent;- Lift and tow motor license.- Must have basic computer knowledge and skills, specifically Microsoft Office.- Must have a vast knowledge of both cutting and shaping machinery and equipment.- Must be knowledgeable of measuring instruments (tape, caliper, and micrometer).
