Description
- Must be a Taiwan Citizen and be fluent in Mandarin Chinese
- Must have a good personality and teamwork spirit.
- Has good English skills. Overseas university education in an English-speaking country (US, Canada, etc.) is preferred.
- Is familiar with Taiwan manufacturing infrastructure, suppliers, and social ways (of doing business).
- Understands that the process (how we do something) is as important as the goals (what we are trying to achieve), willing to train the team to "do things right." This includes planning, proper document keeping, and so on.
- Has personal engineering experience (and not just the experience of managing engineers). We are looking for a "playing coach," not just a "coach who teaches how to play."
- Has a proven track record in leading a mixed group of hardware and software engineers to complete projects related to networking, wireless communications, IoT, industrial automation, data collection, sensors, and related fields.
- Has an excellent birds-eye view of the new developments in the following fields: IoT, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, other low-power wireless communications, sensors, web development (techniques, platforms, and frameworks), new software/firmware development frameworks (WebAssembly, Zephyr, and others).
