Reach Truck/Forklift Driver (Watsons DC)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Always prioritizes safety, strictly follows safety guidelines or rules, and ensures that safety standards are never compromised.
2. Must attend the annual MHE safety briefing for renewal of driver’s authorise card, it is a mandatory requirement.
3. Driver must wear and display driving authorised card as well as wear safety vest.
4. Conduct a daily equipment checks to confirm it is in proper working condition and safe to use.
5. It is compulsory for the driver to complete the provided checklist and sign it.
6. If any faults or damage are detected on equipment, the driver must report it to the supervisor and/or executive before or/and after using the equipment to ensure its safety.
7. Drivers are strictly prohibited from using equipment in the event of major damages or breakdowns or safety issues.
8. Driver must ensure all equipment are properly charge after used at designated charging area.
9. Problematic equipment to be parked at the breakdown area or/and designated area.
10. Adheres strictly to safety protocols and guidelines when lifting, unloading goods, or operating machinery.

QUALIFICATION, SKILL/EXPERIENCE

1. At least 1 year of working experience in warehouse environment
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. The driver is required to complete MHE training and only authorised drivers are allowed to drive the equipment.
4. Must demonstrate proficiency in operating equipment as per the provided training.
5. Must have a clear understanding of and adhere to safety requirements.
6. Reliable, punctual, and flexible to adapt to different shifts, schedules, and varied work environments.
7. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour as needed.
8. A strong team player with the ability to cooperate effectively with colleagues.
