React Front-End Developer

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with React.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React.js, Next.js or Blazor
• Experience integrating and consuming third-party and internal APIs
• Understanding of Azure cloud services
• Experience working with SQL databases
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
• Experience using API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Good understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, user-focused solutions
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn and a proactive problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable adapting to changing priorities
• Desirable: experience with Laravel, C#, Knockout.js, ServiceNow or a fast-paced SME environment

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript and modern web technologies
• Develop intuitive, engaging user interfaces and enhance user experiences
• Work with frameworks and libraries such as React and Next.js
• Integrate applications with APIs, databases and cloud-based services
• Collaborate with back-end developers to deliver seamless client-server functionality
• Develop features and enhancements for customer-facing and internal platforms
• Ensure software quality through automated, integration and unit testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions
• Improve development tools, processes, architecture and documentation
• Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to turn requirements into effective solutions
