  • Implement and maintain state management using technologies such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.
  • Optimise application performance, responsiveness, memory consumption, and startup times.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across iOS and Android.

  • Work closely with product managers, business analysts, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Participate in an Agile/Scrum development environment and contribute to continuous improvement.

Technical Profile

The ideal candidate combines deep React Native expertise with broad software development experience and a strong understanding of mobile application architecture. You should have:

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in React Native.
  • Proven experience building scalable and high‑performance mobile applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within the Belgian public transport domain.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and/or maintaining e‑commerce applications.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, API integration, performance optimisation, and end‑to‑end development.
  • Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Strong experience with Git and modern software development practices.
  • Experience contributing to technical design, architecture, code reviews, and development standards.
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, autonomy, and a proactive approach to development.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
