React Native Developer | Offshore

Builds and maintains cross-platform mobile apps for ecommerce platforms using React Native/TypeScript, focusing on scalable, testable code and SDK development for partners.
The Role:
Some of the essential day to day tasks for this position are listed below. It's important to highlight that this is an evolving role, with multiple new, challenging tasks arising all the time. The position sits within BX Online team (which run the online ecommerce verticals
- Design and deliver functional and quality cross-platform software
- Collaborate and contribute to the various features being built as part of the product roadmap
- Write tests, contribute to test framework, review and approve code changes.
- Write robust, quality software and peer-review in a CI/CD culture with strong support for iterative development cycles
- Design and implement software using modern patterns of development for functionality and scalability within their functional team
- Implement unit, integration and performance tests into a testing framework
## Skills and Experience:
- 7 + Years of Production experience in React Native and Typescript
- Solid understanding of Functional React Components (hooks)
- Ability to write well designed composable React Components, and knowing when to optimise for performance
- Experience writing public SDK's for React Native NPM packages, to be consumed by partners
- Understanding the value in unit, UI and integration testing
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working with ambiguous project requirements, but able to help shape and deliver in an agile way
