React Native Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Build real-time messaging and chat interfaces using WebSockets.
• Implement offline-first data storage using SQLite, WatermelonDB, or similar databases.
• Optimise Android performance, including FlatList rendering, memory usage, and Hermes.
• Manage application state using Redux or similar tools.
• Build dynamic UI components to render text, cards, suggestions, and interactive content.
• Ensure reliable app behaviour across network changes and background/foreground transitions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on React Native development.
• Experience shipping applications on both Android and iOS.
• Strong TypeScript and state management skills.
• Hands-on experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
• Experience with SQLite, WatermelonDB, or offline-first architecture.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimisation and asynchronous state management.
• Experience building chat interfaces, streaming responses, or AI-powered mobile applications.
