Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and native modules as required.
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and load times.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues across the application lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies and frameworks, recommending adoption when beneficial.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile app development, with at least 3+ years using React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Recoil.
- Good understanding of native build tools(Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle).
- Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play Store.
- Understanding of performance optimisation, security best practices, and mobile UI/UX design principles.
- Knowledge of Firebase, Push Notifications, or In-App Purchases is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is preferred.
