Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled React Native Mobile Developer with strong UI/UX design capabilities to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in React Native development and the ability to independently create wireframes, prototypes, and visually appealing user interfaces.

The candidate should have experience working with US-based clients, understand their business requirements and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly mobile applications. This role requires a combination of mobile development expertise, creative design skills and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Independently create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI/UX designs.
• Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive mobile interfaces.
• Develop reusable components and maintain consistent design standards across iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and other team members to understand project requirements.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional, high-quality mobile applications.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, scalability, accessibility, and compatibility across different devices.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
• Implement state management solutions and handle application data efficiently.
• Conduct debugging, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
• Follow mobile development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with US-based clients and stakeholders, including requirements clarification, progress updates, and feedback discussions.
• Incorporate client feedback and design revisions to improve the overall user experience.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in React Native mobile application development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of React concepts, including hooks, functional components, and reusable components.
• Experience developing and deploying applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
• Ability to independently create wireframes, user journeys, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI design principles, usability, typography, color theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience implementing design systems, reusable UI components, and consistent design patterns.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of mobile application performance optimization, debugging, and testing.
• Knowledge of app publishing and deployment processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Prior experience working directly with US-based clients or stakeholders is required.

UI/UX Design Requirements

The candidate must possess practical UI/UX design skills in addition to mobile development expertise.

• Ability to independently handle the complete design process, from requirement gathering to final UI implementation.
• Experience creating low-fidelity wireframes, user flows, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Ability to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience conducting design iterations based on client feedback and usability considerations.
• Ability to maintain consistency between design prototypes and the final developed application.
• A portfolio showcasing mobile application designs and implemented projects will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building consumer-facing or enterprise-grade mobile applications.
• Familiarity with mobile application analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring tools.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for React Native applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and mobile usability best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• A portfolio demonstrating both UI/UX design expertise and React Native development capabilities.
