React Native Mobile Developer (iOS & Android)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced React Native Mobile Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile application architecture, API integration, and performance optimization. The candidate will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.

· Build reusable components and scalable mobile application architectures.

· Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive, high-quality mobile interfaces.

· Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs.

· Implement secure authentication, authorization, session management, and data storage.

· Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.

· Troubleshoot and resolve application defects across iOS and Android platforms.

· Implement push notifications, deep linking, and device-specific functionalities.

· Collaborate with QA teams on unit testing, integration testing, and UAT defect resolution.

· Manage application builds, signing, and deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

· Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

· Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and security best practices.

Skills

Required Skills and Qualifications

· 6–9 years of mobile application development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on React Native experience.

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

· Good understanding of React concepts, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.

· Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.

· Strong experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous operations.

· Familiarity with native iOS and Android development concepts.

· Experience with native modules and third-party SDK integration.

· Knowledge of mobile application security, secure storage, and authentication mechanisms.

· Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile build tools.

· Understanding of mobile application performance optimization and debugging.

· Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with React Native CLI and Expo.

· Familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.

· Experience with Firebase services, analytics, and push notifications.

· Knowledge of biometric authentication, device security, and certificate pinning.

· Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.

· Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or Appium.

· Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and Jira.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
