As a Frontend Engineer, you will own features across Betr’s Sportsbook, Social Sweepstakes Sportsbook, Arcade, and Casino products. The work combines complex UI, real-time WebSocket data, animations, graphics, and mobile performance optimization. You will contribute to products serving users across multiple US states under strict regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ship sportsbook, casino, and fantasy features using React Native
- Implement market layouts, betting slips, player props, and lobbies
- Create physics-based animations and gesture-driven interactions
- Build canvas-based graphics and dynamic game visualizations
- Maintain WebSocket subscriptions and synchronized local stores
Requirements:
- Four-plus years of professional frontend development experience
- Two-plus years building production React Native applications
- Strong TypeScript skills with modern development patterns
- Experience with Reanimated, worklets, and gesture handlers
- Understanding of mobile performance optimization and platform debugging
