Reading & Writing Learning Specialist

<Qualifications: Master’s Degree in related discipline: Education, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) or closely related field; Demonstrated experience in the instruction of math and/or science; Experience in the use of competency-based, individualized instruction, preferably in a comprehensive Learning Center; Demonstrated ability to work as a team member; Experience in the use of technology in the teaching of math and/or science; evaluation and integration of computer assisted instruction; Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of a community college; Experience in higher education, preferably at a community college; and Strong oral and written communication skills.<INTERNAL JOB DESCRIPTION>>
