Ready Mix Driver - Rockville, MD

• Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to the customers and job sites in a safe and timely manner.
• Visually inspect concrete mix for correct slump, and constituents.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation of truck and mixer.
• Completes all paperwork that may be necessary; assist with plant work as required by plant management.
• Assemble concrete chutes and operate chute controls during the pour.
• Communicates truck/job status to dispatch.
• Work with customers on site to achieve maximum customer service.
• Maintain superior public relations in the performance of duties.
• Observe all safety precautions and rules/laws specified by site, city, state, federal and Company regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Good driving record
• Good attendance and punctuality a must
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
• Proficient reading, writing, and math skills
• 1-2 years vehicle road experience operation of a commercial vehicle
• Successfully pass a 7 year criminal background check
• Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.
• Ability to lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 60 lbs
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend for extended period of time
• Must have the initiative to be able to work without direct supervisor and be a team player
