Real Estate Accounting Intern

Rosano Property Mgmt has an internship opportunity in its Mid-Wilshire office to assist the tam of property managers in all operations. We are looking for diligent, outgoing junior or senior local college students with a desire to learn and practice real estate accounting & property management.

Ideal candidate is a professional, highly organized, detailed-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This individual must possess excellent verbal communication skills, phone etiquette and ability to prioritize.

Must be a local to Los Angeles Junior or Senior.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Property management accounting and learn the software and procedure of property accounting.
• Provide support in Leasing operation
• Generate standardized notice forms, e.g. 24 notice to enter, 30 day notice of rent increase, 3 day notice to pay or vacate, etc
• Trouble shoot Yardi and input missing data
• Generate SOP's (standard operating procedures) for frequent/important tasks
• Conduct competitive research (rent comps & sales comps).
• Organize and manage Sharepoint shared drive
