Maintains and troubleshoots Vodacom’s real-time Kafka and Flink streaming platforms, diagnosing production issues and updating runbooks in a 24/7 environment.
Vodacom is seeking an experienced Application Operations Engineer to ensure an effective support service for real-time data streaming platforms. You will troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analyses and maintain runbooks for Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink environments.
The role requires 3–5 years in application operations and hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, and associated tools in a large-scale, 24/7 environment.
