Rebuild Mechanic

JOB PURPOSE

Do you enjoy working with your hands, fixing mechanical problems, and seeing the results of your work? Abilene Machine LLC is looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Rebuild Technician to disassemble, clean, rebuild, and test hydraulic components, PTO units, and gear assemblies for John Deere and International Harvester (IH) tractors and combines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild hydraulic pumps, steering components, clutches, transmissions, final drives, and PTO units.

• Reassemble components using instructions and schematics.

• Test hydraulic pumps for leaks and proper pressure.

• Track new and used pump inventory.

• Maintain quality standards and minimize warranty claims and returns.

• Empty core tubs and baskets as needed.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
