Receiver (Salinas, CA)
Summary:
The Receiver is responsible for the timely and accurate entering of all raw product commodities into Navision (NAV). This person will serve as point of contact for all inbound shipments. This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all weight data collected within the receiving documentation requirements (pack out)
- Perform daily inventory of all raw product while creating holdover reports
- Perform daily hold over adjustments through inventory reports in NAV
- Responsible for reconciling entered data from Nav, Do Forms Field Tag, and Pack Out reports
- Responsible for daily communication with Production, QA, Ag Ops, Accounting, and Sales regarding inventory levels or receiving status
- Check all entries throughout the day for accuracy
- Assist Distribution Supervisor with training new Receivers
- Analyze and recommend inventory improvements and processes to increase inventory accuracy
- Maintain immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters and take prompt corrective action where necessary.
