Receive and inspect hotel supplies, verify deliveries, maintain records, and coordinate with departments to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you’ll do…

  • Receive all incoming goods and verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
  • Inspect received items for quantity, quality and compliance with company specifications, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing, Finance and user departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.
  • Prepare and maintain receiving records, documentation and system entries in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all received goods are appropriately labelled and transferred promptly to the respective stores or departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards in the receiving area while following health, safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls and audit requirements throughout the receiving process.

  • Previous experience as a Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk or Store Associate in a hotel, hospitality or retail environment.
  • Knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory control and basic purchasing processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments and with suppliers.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
