Overview:

The Receiving & Dispatcher position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse

operations by ensuring inbound materials are accurately received, documented, and entered into system records while also assisting with dispatch coordination and material movement. This role requires strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work across receiving, inventory, and dispatch functions to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound materials and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and related documentation.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Complete accurate system transactions for receipts and maintain organized receiving records and supporting documentation.
  • Support daily dispatch activities by coordinating requests, preparing materials, and helping ensure timely movement of items.
  • Maintain receiving and dispatch logs, monitor workflow status, and provide updates as needed.
  • Assist with inventory control tasks such as cycle counts, material staging, labeling, and location accuracy.
  • Operate within company safety standards and keep the receiving and dispatch areas clean, organized, and audit-ready.

  • Other duties as assigned.
