Receiving Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Job Summary

The Receiving Driver is responsible for unloading incoming deliveries, operating warehouse equipment, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a safe and efficient receiving dock.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift and ride-on pallet jack safely. Reach truck experience is a plus.
• Unload palletized and floor-loaded shipments, including loose boxes.
• Re-palletize, stack, wrap, and organize merchandise safely.
• Check drivers in and out, recording arrival/departure times, carrier information, and pallet counts.
• Verify delivery paperwork and report damaged, missing, or incorrect merchandise.
• Stage incoming freight in designated areas and maintain an organized dock.
• Perform equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Assist the Receiving team with daily operations and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and ride-on pallet jack required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical warehouse duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.
• Reach truck experience is a plus.
