Receptionist — Student/ Flexi

As a Flexi/ Student Receptionist at VIA Antwerp, you help create a warm and professional welcome for every guest. You support the front desk team and contribute to the smooth running of daily hotel operations.

This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work in hospitality and who enjoys interacting with people. Shifts are arranged according to the hotel's operational needs and your availability, without a fixed schedule.

Your responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs.

• Answer questions and provide information about the hotel and its services.

• Handle phone calls, emails and guest requests.

• Support reservations and front desk administration.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

• Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area.

• Handle guest enquiries professionally and resolve straightforward issues where possible.

• You meet the legal eligibility requirements for a student job/ flexi-job in Belgium.

• You have a friendly, professional and service-oriented attitude.

• You communicate well in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

• You are reliable, organised and attentive to detail.

• You can work independently and collaborate with colleagues.

• You are comfortable using computers and hotel systems.

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.

• You can provide flexible availability depending on operational needs.
