About the role
We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our growing team as Recess Educators.
Recess Educator
This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during recess hours. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, leading games and activities, and creating a safe, active, and positive environment for elementary school students.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise students during recess and outdoor play
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
- Lead engaging games and recreational activities
- Encourage teamwork, inclusion, and positive social interactions
- Support students in resolving minor conflicts respectfully
- Help maintain a structured and enjoyable recess environment
- Monitor attendance and communicate any concerns to school staff
- Prepare and organize activity equipment and materials
- Keep play areas organized, clean, and safe
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, starting in August.
Hourly Pay Rate: $30/hour
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
