The Role:
As the Reconstruction Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned restoration crews. This front-line management position coaches and leads their team to operational excellence.
The Details:
- Manage the customer experience.
- Provide priority response to potential customers.
- Create an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates using proprietary software, including but not limited to: Xactimate and Verisk.
- Create budget from approved estimate with acceptable profit margin.
- Coordinate approved work with insurance adjusters.
- Audit estimates provided by insurance companies and submit supplements accordingly.
- Negotiate customer approval of project scope, estimates, and change orders..
- Schedule, coordinate and oversee crews and resources, including subcontractors, to provide services on active projects.
- Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process.
- Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.
- Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets.
- Find, vet, and onboard subcontractor base quickly and efficiently.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training restoration teammates.
- Encourage satisfied customers to provide online reviews.
What You Must Have:
- At least 3 years of restoration industry experience including budgeting, Xactimate supplements, onboarding of subcontractors, building scopes of work, and the ability to close and secure work authorizations.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software.
- Experience working with property owners and insurance adjusters.

- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions.
- Any IICRC certifications are a big plus.
- High school diploma/GED; Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
