Record to Report Senior Specialist - BU NA
Sr Accountant for Energy and Transportation Solutions. This position leads the month end close process, with support from the Finance Director. Serves as the Finance track lead for Oracle, coordinates testing for the business across all functional tracks, and acts as the primary support contact for the GFS teams in Costa Rica and Manilla. The role plays an important part in ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, while driving efficiency and financial accuracy.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead financial business system testing for Oracle
Lead monthly financial close with support from Director of Finance
Lead support for GFS teams
Prepare and distribute various month-end and quarterly financial reports
Support GFS in monthly and quarterly balance sheet reviews
Support internal and external audits
Support yearly tax reporting requirements
Provide analytical support to business unit as requested
Perform other job duties as requested
Who You Are: You are a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities. You anticipate challenges, prepare for unexpected outcomes, and explore solutions. You communicate clearly and report bad news or problems promptly.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or finance.
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing and project accounting.
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle module setups and testing.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including concatenation formulas, VLOOKUP functions, and Pivot Tables.
- English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate).
