Ko tā mātou mahi – About the role
We are seeking a detail-focused Records and QA Specialist to join our Records & Completions team based in Penrose, Auckland. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring completed telecommunications projects are accurately quality assured, recorded and uploaded into industry systems such as Netmap and SiteTRAX.
Working closely with internal teams and offshore service providers, you’ll ensure project records, as-builts, test results and artefacts meet UCG, client and New Zealand compliance standards. Where required, you may also support network design activities to ensure accurate, cost-effective and compliant outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong QA discipline, telecommunications knowledge and a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement.
Ko tō mahi – What you will do
• Quality assure completed job artefacts including as-builts, photos, CPA and test results
• Update Netmap records using AutoCAD to reflect accurate as-built designs
• QA and upload completed job documentation into SiteTRAX
• Liaise with delivery partners to monitor quality, productivity and compliance
• Support network design activities when required, ensuring alignment with client and regulatory standards
Nā tāu rourou – What you will bring
• Experience working with telecommunications records, QA or network documentation
• Proficiency in Netmap and intermediate skills in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of NGA / MDU telecommunications architecture
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, quality-first mindset
• Confidence working with multiple stakeholders, including offshore teams
• Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Tertiary qualifications in telecommunications engineering and experience using Chorus I Tools will be advantageous.
