Role Summary

Copart UAE is looking for a professional and safety-focused Recovery Driver to collect, recover and transport vehicles from customers, workshops, dealerships, insurance locations, body shops, tow yards and other designated locations to Copart facilities.

The role requires safe operation of recovery vehicles and equipment, excellent vehicle handling and a strong customer-service mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet the daily trips target assigned by the Company.
• Collect and tow damaged, accident and non-running vehicles.
• Safely load, secure, transport and unload vehicles.
• Conduct basic vehicle condition checks and report existing or additional damage.
• Operate recovery tow truck equipment, winches and ramps in safe manners.
• Complete pre-trip vehicle and equipment inspection in mobile app on daily basis.
• Use handheld/mobile technology to manage assignments, update collection/delivery status and capture photographs.
• Provide professional customer service at collection and delivery locations.
• Maintain accurate recovery and delivery documentation.
• Follow UAE road traffic, safety and company requirements.
• Maintain the recovery vehicle and equipment in a clean and operational condition.
• Support Copart yard and vehicle movement activities when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Valid UAE light commercial vehicle (3-ton pickup) driving licence for the assigned recovery vehicle.
• Professional driving experience.
• Previous towing, vehicle recovery, car transportation or automotive experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and locations.
• Basic understanding of vehicle recovery and securing procedures.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to use smartphones/handheld devices.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors and in hot weather conditions.
• Wearing the proper safety gears and Copart uniform and represent the company professionally and uphold Copart’s standards.
