Recreation Manager

As a Recreation Manager, you’re not just managing recreational activities – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

  • Develop, plan, and implement a diverse range of recreational activities and programs, including water sports, fitness classes, cultural experiences, and family-friendly events.

  • Manage and maintain all recreational facilities, including swimming pools, fitness centers, sports courts, and equipment.

  • Lead and motivate a team of recreation team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure the highest level of service.

  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and activities, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve the recreation offerings to meet and exceed guest expectations.

  • Ensure all safety and health regulations are followed and that guests and staff are aware of safety procedures.

  • Manage the recreation budget, including purchasing supplies, equipment maintenance, and staffing costs.

  • Promote and market recreational programs to guests, enhancing their overall experience and encouraging participation.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a resort or hotel environment.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to design and implement innovative recreational programs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to recreational activities.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
