Summary

Oversee day-to-day operations of a club’s sports and recreation facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and member satisfaction while coordinating events and member services.

Our client is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sports & Recreation Operations Executive to support the day-to-day management of the Club's sports and recreational facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with members, coordinating events, and ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards while delivering an exceptional club experience.

Working Hours: 5-day work week, shift-based

  • AM Shift: 7:00am – 2:30pm
  • PM Shift: 2:30pm – 10:00pm

Applicants must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

🚍 Complimentary shuttle bus service is available from Bedok MRT and Tampines (Century Square bus stop).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support daily operations, cleanliness, safety and upkeep of sports and recreation facilities, equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor facility usage and conduct membership verification checks.
  • Ensure compliance with Club rules, policies and safety requirements.
  • Assist in planning and conducting sports tournaments, swimming competitions, recreational activities and Club events.
  • Attend to members’ enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, contractors and vendors on maintenance, repairs and upgrading works.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and First Aid/AED checks.
  • Support emergency preparedness and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory records, equipment, assets, operational documentation and key control.

REQUIREMENTS

  • GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Sports Management, Sports Science, Recreation, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as First Aid, CPR, AED, fitness instruction, sports coaching, or personal training will be an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sports, recreation, fitness, leisure, hospitality, or customer service operations. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working in an active, outdoor, and operational environment.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
