Recreational Sports Staff

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Sports and Recreation, the Recreational Sports Staff will be responsible for safely supervising and refereeing participants in youth and adult sports leagues, camps, clinics, etc. The position is a combination of time spent officiating, as well as instructing kids aged 3-14 on various sports including soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, and others! Although knowing sports help in our program, it is not required. We are looking for individuals willing to learn, grow, and give back to our surrounding community!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Demonstrate a basic understanding of soccer, volleyball, basketball, and football with a willingness to learn and coach other sports.

2. Availability to work 4-15 hours per week.

3. Availability to work weeknights and Saturdays.

4. Safely supervise, officiate, and engage participants in youth and adult sports leagues, camps, clinics, etc.

5. Setup, maintain and clean up all sports equipment.

6. All other duties as assigned.
