Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Employee Relations and Talent Management this position is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to build a candidate pipeline and attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable candidates. This individual will Identify potential candidates for current and future openings through a wide variety of recruitment methods and strategies (e.g., networking, sourcing candidates, representing CODAC at job fairs) Assist with other HR duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Aid in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally.

Provides excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Research, organize, and represent CODAC local and virtual job fairs

Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

Review and analyze resumes using our in-house ATS software program.

Scour job search websites for potential recruits and contact those candidates personally.

Assess applicant’s relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes

Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.

Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

Conduct prescreening interviews.

Coordinate panel interviews with/for hiring managers

Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.

Coordinate college recruiting initiatives to include developing working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.

Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.

Maintains adequate cross training and serves as a backup for other departmental functions.

Performs other related activities in accordance with agency growth and changes.
