Recruiter (Part-Time)

As a Part-Time Recruiter with the NEEDS Center, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring area candidates to meet the staffing needs of our growing non-profit organization. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their requirements and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Your experience in candidate screening and assessment will be essential in identifying and securing qualified candidates who align with our company culture and values.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm

Location: NEEDS Center Corporate Office, Orange Park

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the hiring and staffing needs of the NEEDS Center
  • Source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, facilitate interview feedback sessions, and manage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Extending job offers and negotiate employment terms with selected candidates.
  • Oversee onboarding process including completing offer letters, scheduling for orientation training, processing new hire paperwork
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges, along with other talent acquisition partners.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives, recruitment events, and other talent acquisition activities to promote our organization as an employer of choice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
  • At least 2-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Experience using recruiting web sites such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office as well as knowledgeable of other recruiting and onboarding applications.
