Recruiter

Due to growth The Satterfield and Pontikes Family of companies is adding a Recruiter to our corporate office in Houston (77041). The Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for mid to senior-level roles across the organization. This role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role is in the office 4 days a week. To be successful in this role you must have experience cold calling candidates. This is not an HR/Staffing type role. This role requires a true sourcing expert that is comfortable cold calling passive candidates.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Full-cycle recruiting for entry-level to senior-level roles under the guidance of senior recruiters.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and recommend sourcing or screening approaches.

• Source and engage with candidates utilizing passive search techniques.

• Carry an above-average requisition load of 15+ at any given time

• Create and implement sourcing strategies for recruiting for a variety of roles, including operations, administrative, etc.
  

• Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through timely updates, feedback coordination, and follow-up.

• Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

• Contribute to improving recruiting processes, templates, and tools for efficiency and consistency.

• Assist with offer preparation, reference checks, and pre-employment processes as needed.

• Support or participate in recruiting events, job fairs, or off-site hiring initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience as a Recruiter preferably with a construction company.
