About David AI
David AI is the first audio data research company. We bring an R&D approach to data–developing datasets with the same rigor AI labs bring to models. Our mission is to bring AI into the real world, and we believe audio is the gateway. Speech is versatile, accessible, and human—it fits naturally into everyday life. As audio AI advances and new use cases emerge, high-quality training data is the bottleneck. This is where David AI comes in.
David AI was founded in 2024 by a team of former Scale AI engineers and operators. In less than a year, we've brought on most FAANG companies and AI labs as customers. We recently raised a $50M Series B from Meritech, NVIDIA, Jack Altman (Alt Capital), Amplify Partners, First Round Capital and other Tier 1 investors.
Our team is sharp, humble, ambitious, and tight-knit. We're looking for the best research, engineering, product, and operations minds to join us on our mission to push the frontier of audio AI.
About the Role
This role will sit at the center of our recruiting effort, owning the coordination that keeps everything moving. You’ll collaborate with recruiters and hiring stakeholders, while gaining exposure to the full hiring lifecycle at a fast-growing AI company. This role is a great starting point for someone looking to build a career in Recruiting and will report to our Recruiting Operations Manager.

Flex your project management muscle by owning scheduling timelines and SLAs — tracking progress, surfacing risks early, and keeping recruiters and hiring managers informed
Champion a white-glove candidate experience from start to finish — from clear, warm communications to greeting onsite candidates
Become a systems expert: maintain Ashby (our Applicant Tracking System) as the single source of truth, including stage updates, candidate notes, and pipeline hygiene
Build relationships and work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to keep every search on track
Help uplevel the processes and systems that power this function — looking for smarter, faster ways to work, including where AI tools can lighten the load
Have opportunities to work on recruiting operations projects, sourcing efforts, and more
What We're Looking For
1+ year of full-time professional work experience
An interest in building a career in recruiting, sourcing, or talent-adjacent roles
Genuine care for the candidate experience and for building relationships
Strong written communication — your emails are clear, warm, and you follow up when needed
High energy but professional — you can read the room, whether it's a nervous candidate, a rushed hiring manager, or a founder coming up to you with a question
Exceptional organizational instincts — you notice what others miss and fix it without being asked
Strong command of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) for scheduling and communication
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and in a fast-paced office environment
Able to thrive working in office 5 days a week
