Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist

LaBella Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires in your designated divisions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the success of our company.

This position is hybrid and is based out of our Rochester, NY office.

As the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist, you will play a vital role in finding the perfect candidates for technical positions in designated divisions. You will have a deep understanding of the requirements for these roles and will be responsible for creating job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and contacting potential candidates to determine their fit. Additionally, you will work closely with regional HRBPs to support regional recruiting efforts and collaborate with Division Directors to identify and prioritize recruitment needs.

You will also be the main point of contact for onboarding new hires in the designated divisions. Working alongside HRBPs, you will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, starting from the moment they accept the offer until their first day on the job.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruiting
    • Write and post job vacancies
    • Source candidates
    • Review Applications
    • Schedule interviews
    • Assist with offer letter process
    • Attend recruiting meetings
    • Host recruiting meetings with Division Directors and/or divisional leadership teams
    • Career Fair coordination
  • Onboarding
    • Send new hire paperwork
    • Process new hire background checks
    • Review onboarding paperwork and verify I-9 identification
    • Enter new hires into ADP WorkforceNow
    • Assist with new hire immigration matters
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Co-Manage the Internship Program
    • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Management, or other relevant degree
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
  • 2 - 5 years of experience involving recruiting and onboarding
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, Workable preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with data entry preferred
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
