Recruitment Consultant

Job Summary

You will source, screen, and recruit candidates through multiple channels to build a reliable talent pool for the early childhood sector. You will maintain candidate databases and develop new sourcing networks to ensure quality placements.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, community networks, and other channels to build a reliable talent pool
• Screen applications and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate suitability for roles in the early childhood sector
• Assess candidates’ experience, availability, communication skills, and sector fit to ensure quality placements
• Maintain an active database and pipeline of available candidates for efficient matching with client needs
• Develop new sourcing channels and referral networks to expand recruitment reach and improve candidate flow

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI)
• Hold a diploma or equivalent qualification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, staffing, sales, business development, customer service, or the early childhood sector
• Ability to conduct cold calling, prospecting, and meet new people to actively source candidates and clients
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with candidates, clients, and partners
• Resourcefulness, organization, and ability to work independently in a dynamic, growing business environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic CRM/database systems for efficient data management
• Ability to communicate effectively with candidates, families, and business partners
• Experience in recruitment or employment agency environments is advantageous
