Job Summary
The Recruitment Executive connects mature workers with suitable job placements, supports candidates through the application process, advocates for mature worker hiring, and tracks placement outcomes to improve services.
Responsibilities
- Source and identify job openings that match the skills and experience of mature workers to expand placement opportunities
- Screen candidates thoroughly to assess qualifications and suitability for specific roles
- Match mature workers to appropriate job opportunities based on skills, experience, and career goals
- Guide and support candidates throughout the job application process to enhance their success
- Represent CFS at industry events, conferences, and job fairs to promote the value of mature workers
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to strengthen outreach
- Maintain and update the job seekers database to monitor placement success and measure program impact
- Analyze placement data to identify improvement areas and inform future recruitment strategies
- Achieve monthly placement targets by successfully matching candidates to available positions
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of recruitment or human resources experience, preferably focused on mature worker placement
- Knowledge of labour market trends and industry dynamics relevant to mature workers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and employers
- Effective organizational and time management skills to manage multiple recruitment tasks
- Commitment to promoting age diversity and social justice in the workplace
- Target-driven mindset with a sales-oriented approach to recruitment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards to manage recruitment processes
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion initiatives to support equitable hiring practices
- Certification in human resources or recruitment
