Recruitment Resourcer / Candidate Specialist - Fashion/Retail/Ecomm (Remote)
Remote Recruitment and Researcher Administrator
Salary: Up to $2,000 AUD/ month + commission
The client is an Australian boutique recruitment agency specialising across the fashion, retail, beauty, wellness, digital, e-commerce, FMCG and consumer sectors. The team consists of six consultants and a manager, partnering with some of Australia’s leading brands across creative, digital and commercial recruitment.
We are currently seeking a mature, highly organised Recruitment Administrator / Researcher to support our growing team remotely from the Philippines. We highly value long-term team relationships and have strong retention within our offshore support team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Candidate Sourcing and Shortlisting
- Review active vacancies and consultant briefs to understand the role requirements.
- Search for relevant candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, JobAdder and other sourcing platforms.
- Identify and approach suitable passive and active candidates.
- Build targeted talent pipelines for current and future vacancies.
- Review applications and determine which candidates meet the essential requirements.
- Prepare high-quality candidate shortlists for consultants.
- Prioritise candidate quality and suitability rather than simply producing large volumes of names.
- Candidate Calling and Screening
- Proactively call candidates regarding suitable employment opportunities.
- Conduct initial telephone and video screening interviews.
- Assess candidates’ experience, skills, achievements and suitability for the position.
- Pre-qualify candidates before referring them to a consultant.
- Confirm salary expectations, location, availability, notice period, working rights and motivation for moving roles.
- Clearly explain the opportunity and accurately represent Who in the Zoo and our clients.
- Identify any concerns or gaps that consultants should be aware of.
- Record clear and useful screening notes in JobAdder.
- Maintain professional and consistent communication throughout the candidate process.
- Interview and Meeting Coordination
- Book qualified candidates into meetings with the relevant recruitment consultant.
- Coordinate candidate availability and interview times.
- Confirm appointments and follow up with candidates to reduce cancellations and no-shows.
- Ensure consultants have complete candidate information before each meeting.
- Follow up with candidates after interviews and communicate feedback to the consultant.
- Recruitment Systems and Candidate Management
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activity notes in JobAdder.
- Keep candidate statuses, availability and contact details current.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter and relevant sourcing tools effectively.
- Track candidates from initial contact through to consultant interview and placement.
- Maintain organised talent pipelines for each consultant and vacancy.
- Performance Expectations
- Success in this role will be measured by:
- The quality and suitability of candidates shortlisted.
- The number of qualified candidates booked with consultants.
- Candidate response and engagement rates.
- The accuracy and quality of screening notes.
- Interview attendance rates.
- The number of candidates progressing through the recruitment process.
- Successful placements generated with your assistance.
- Bonus Structure
- In addition to the monthly salary, the successful candidate will receive an additional A$100 bonus for assistant successfully placed candidates
- There is no cap on the number of placement bonuses that can be earned.
Requirements
You must be:
- Confident and professional when speaking with candidates by phone and video.
- Comfortable making a high volume of proactive candidate calls.
- Able to assess candidate suitability and ask effective screening questions.
- Commercially aware and capable of understanding different job briefs.
- Mature, reliable and highly organised.
- An excellent verbal and written English communicator.
- Persistent and proactive without being overly aggressive.
- Comfortable working to activity and placement targets.
- Able to manage multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines.
- Experienced with LinkedIn Recruiter, JobAdder or a similar recruitment system.
- Interested in fashion, retail, beauty, digital, e-commerce and consumer brands.
- Available to work during Australian business hours.
