Recruitment Specialist (Qatari Nationals Only)

About the role:

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations - Flight Deck Crew Recruitment & Selection team as a Recruitment Specialist to be based in Doha, Qatar.

As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible ensuring that Qatar Airways Flight Deck has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute their business plans. In this role, you will provide expert advice, data and recommendations to hiring managers, to support key recruitment decisions.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

· Responsible for the delivery of an assigned number of open positions by managing interfaces with the rest of the Flight Deck Pilot Recruitment and Selection team to ensure recruitment outcomes and quality of hire, time to hire and cost of hire standards are met.

· Maintain close relationship with the hiring managers, coach them through the recruitment process, and provide assistance when needed to ensure process is maintained.

· Present a pipeline/talent pool of candidates, by assessing candidates’ competence, cultural fit and motivation, to meet the business’ resourcing plan for the financial year.

· Effectively support, organise and advertise campaigns, interview candidates, by following department processes and best practices to ensure success of campaigns.

· Perform regular auditing of all candidates by tracking databases and checking weekly reports to ensure department procedures are followed

· Responsible for the information and communication delivered to Flight Deck Candidates via our Applicant Tracking system and Email to ensure that the information is in accordance with all the changes in policies and procedures.

· Champion compliance with Qatar Airways group policies and procedures throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems (e.g. ATS) to consistent standards across the team.
